| CHRISTMAS DAY LUNCH
2009 |
|
Do you know anyone who may be alone on Christmas Day 2009
and who might like to enjoy some company and a traditional,
free Christmas meal at Gainsborough House?
It is now 34 years since volunteers started organising this
wonderful event. It has been possible due to the generosity
of many people who donate most of the ingredients and volunteers
who come to help on the day. Local churches, charities, women's
institutes, individuals and Gainsborough Rotary club have
all helped to make it a memorable occasion.
There will also be carol singing, coffee, free transport for
anyone who needs it and a heart-warming Christmas to remember
for years to come.
Please contact Gainsborough House in November for an
application form, or phone May Greenaway ( 01427 612620) if
you would like to be a volunteer and Michael Wragg ( 01427
616852) if you would like to make a donation of any kind.
